It’s the last night of the season — let’s make some new volleyball friends.
Swapping is optional, but highly encouraged!
The goal
Swap with people you don’t know. The whole point is meeting new folks — try to find players from teams you haven’t hung out with before.
How it works
- Swap teams before your game. Any player can swap with anyone else playing in the same time slot — not just your opponents. Talk to players on other courts.
- Grab a ballot. Write your name on it and drop it in the bowl. 1 ballot per swap.
🎯 Bonus ballot: Chaos Swap
Feeling brave? Swap mid-game between plays for an extra ballot (try not to interrupt the flow of the game):
- Find yourself and another player both between plays? Swap places.
- Both at the serve line? Swap places.
- Ball interrupts your play? Swap with that person chasing down the ball.
- Try to find your way back to your new friends.
1 bonus ballot per game.
Max ballots per player
- 2 games × (1 pre-game swap + 1 chaos swap) = up to 4 ballots for the night
The prize
- 4 × $25 winners drawn at the end of the night.
- Only players who’ve swapped are eligible.
- One prize per person — if your name is drawn twice, we’ll draw again.
Rules
- Pre-game swaps only within your current time slot.
- Coed: Balanced-ish is nice. Don’t stress it — just swap.
- Meet someone new — that’s the spirit of the night.
