About the League

Beach Vibes Volleyball League brings a fresh energy back to the courts at Melrose Community Club.

It’s all about summer nights, great competition, and a strong sense of community. We’re focused on putting players first—better organization, new sand, improved equipment, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere where everyone can enjoy the game.

Whether you’re here to compete, connect, or just soak up the vibe, this is your spot to play, unwind, and be part of something new.

Tuesday League Expression of Interest

With fresh sand coming for 2026, we want to bring back Tuesdays. This would apply to Womens league (or expansion of Co-ed 4’s). If we have at least 8 teams wanting to register, we’ll bring it back!

If you’re interested in putting a team for Tuesdays, please let us know ASAP! We’ll keep you informed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a new league?

Not exactly. With strong interest in keeping beach volleyball going at Melrose, Beach Vibes Volleyball was created to carry things forward under new leadership—bringing a renewed focus on organization, player experience, and long-term growth.

What’s new this season?

This season brings a renewed focus on league operations, player experience, and reinvestment into the courts and equipment. That includes fresh sand, a few rule changes, and a stronger structure designed to support the league over the long term.

Where are games played?

All games are played at Melrose Park Community Club located at 480 Kimberley Ave.

League fees?

Early Bird Registration Co-Ed 4’s: $440 + $80 Performance bond

Registration Fees after May 18th: $480 + $80 Performance bond

Remaining balance of performance bonds will be returned to teams at end of season.

When does the league start and what time are games?

Our start date is weather-dependent, but we’re aiming to kick things off as early as May 26 and 28.

Game times will typically begin between 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM, depending on sunset and number of teams. As the days get shorter later in the season, expect slightly earlier start times.

Will the court finally be dry after it rains!?

We can’t guarantee it just yet, but we’re actively working on temporary solutions to reduce water buildup. There are also community centre grants available, and we’ll be working with Melrose to pursue a more permanent fix.
